The Ultra Laser is one of our most popular treatments as it has little to no downtime and leaves behind incredible results. This laser resurfaces the skin giving a brighter tone and improving texture. This laser targets dark spots and pigmentation treating concerns like:
- Age spots
- Freckles
- Sun spots
- Pigmented lesions
- Sun damage
- Actinic Keratosis
- Active Acne
- Texture
1-3 treatments are reccomended for optimal results.
PRIOR TO YOUR TREATMENT
Prior to your treatment you want to avoid sun exposure and retinol for at least 3 days.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Prior to your treatment your provider will apply topical numbing. Patients descirbe the Ultra treatment as a warm sensation with tingling. Treatment time ranges from 5-30 minutes depending on size of treatment area.
Following the treatment the skin may feel warm depending on intensity and the skin will be red but will lessen of the next day or so.
The following 5-6 days your skin will have dry, sand-paper like texture. This is normal and will resolve as your skin naturally exfoliates revealing fresher, clearer skin.
You can continue to wear makeup 24 hours after your treatment.
AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Follow instructions in your Epionce post care kit for days 2-5 or use gentle cleaner and moisturizer.
- Keep treated area clean and hydrated
- DO NOT pick, excessively rub, scratch, or scrub the treatment area.
- Use SPF 30 or higher
- Resume normal regimen 5days post procedure, avoid retinol for 2 weeks
- DO NOT disrupt flaking skin, these will fall away naturally within 3-7 days (longer for aggressive treatments).
- For the next 24 Hours Avoid: hot showers/baths, saunas, swimming/chlorine, makeup, sun exposure, & excessive sweating
