AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
After your filler treatment, bruising and swelling is expected. You can take Benadryl or Zyrtec, use cool compresses, sleep on an extra pillow to elevate your head at night and apply Arnica gel for relief. Although it is not commonly needed, Tylenol can be used for pain. Avoid NSAIDs such as, ibuprofen and Aleve. These can worsen bruising. Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, hot tubs, or steam rooms for 24-48 hours. You may be directed to do soft massage in the area treated. Your SKN Lab injector will instruct you on massaging after your treatment if necessary. Avoid laying on your face and avoid direct pressure where your filler was injected. Allow two weeks for bruising and soft tissue swelling to resolve for final results. As always, a two week follow up is included with your treatment to ensure the best results!
